Wow! Such a positive response from the giveaway so far! All of you are so amazing! So...I had a little headband party at my house last night so some of the headbands that are on my Etsy shop are currently on back order! Sorry for the inconvenience! I'll leave them up on my shop so that you can still tell Elaine which ones are your faves. Plus, I have a ton of new styles that I have yet to add to my shop so be sure to stay tuned! If there is one that any of you would like to order in the meantime, shoot me a message either via email or through Etsy about which one you'd like and I'll let you know if it is one I'll need to recreate for you! (FYI, each headband I make is really one of a kind so if I remake any of them they might vary due to buttons and fabrics that are available in my own personal stash of supplies or what the stores and vintage shops have to offer.)

Expanding the honeyband product line

Headbands have been really successful so I'm planning on expanding my product line to hair pins with a range of flower sizes, knit berets and hats with flower adornments, and possibly scarves and little gloves for the fall and winter seasons. I have even entertained the idea of home accessories like decorative pillows and picture frames. Lately, I have dabbled in making jewelry with these cool charms and trinkets I've eyed while shopping for buttons and things for my headbands. I would love to hear your feedback. Feel free to shoot me an email or a message with any suggestions or things you'd want to see! So stay tuned and be sure to keep checking my shop!

Hey girls, so many of you have suggested moving Honeybands to Etsy. Wish granted. To my shock and horror, there is another girl making headbands called Honeybands. Rude. Alright so how could something so seemingly unglamorous be home to such sweet hair accessories? Who even knows. I either make honeybands on my bedroom floor with my Pandora stations playing in the background or at my kitchen table while watching my favorite show, Cake Boss. Beats your typical 9-5, eh?

Wow. In it's launching week, 37 Honeybands have been sold. WAHOO! I have been scouring the streets of Provo looking for the best charms, trinkets, buttons, and fabrics to make the cutest headbands ever. I've found some great stuff so far so help keep the heart of these headbands still beating! My favorite headband I've made so far is listed below and naturally I named it after none other than yours truly.

Attention all honeybanders! Not only have I updated the blog with several new styles of honeybands, but I have now included prices.

I have decided to start a frequent buyer and referral rewards system! Starting now, if you buy $100 or more or refer at least 5 friends that then go on to buy honeybands you get one FREE! I set up camp in front of a basket of vintage buttons at this little fabric shop a block from my apartment. Found some good ones! I'll be in Lake Tahoe for a week but keep checking the blog as I will be adding tons of new honeyband styles when I get back. Can't wait to start creating with these buttons!
